About the Artist

Alicia Dunn was born in 1960 in Havana, Cuba. A contemporary abstract painter, Alicia creates spirited paintings capturing the life force of the natural world. Through the use of vibrant color, layering and textural techniques, the work achieves a luminosity that is invigorating yet serene. Her work is inspired by her mood, dreams and the unseeable but intuitively felt energy in nature. Raised in Brooklyn, NY, the artist currently lives and works beachside in San Diego. Her work is collected internationally.
