She began her art career in 1993 by starting her own decorative painting business, Paint Smart. While painting everything from furniture to wall murals she worked with clients and focused on their needs while developing into a talented artist. After twelve very successful years as a decorative painter she turned her focus toward fine art. In 2000, she began studying with local artist Andy Braitman and flourished under his direction for the next six years.\r\rRecognized by her spontaneous brushwork, diversity, and candid use of color her viewers seem to relate and connect to her work. Her paintings convey a certain energy and spontaneity that draws the viewer into her work whether it be a landscape, interior, still life or abstract. Her style brings energy and excitement to the canvas in a very creative, artistic way that is all her own.\r\rAlthough Libby spends a great deal of her time painting she also finds joy in sharing her knowledge with others by teaching workshops or helping individuals. While she loves painting outdoors in nature she spends most of her time devoted to painting in her home studio. Libby has never been content to settle in with just one style of painting, rather she challenges herself to experience and develop as an artist. She broadens her artistic experiences by studying with other well known artists in and around the country as well as abroad. This continuous learning is what excites her and keeps her connected to the art world.  \r\rLibby received a B.A. from Converse College and continues to study with Andy Braitman on a regular basis. She lives in Charlotte, NC with her two boys and her husband. That experience taught him how to think fast, work in difficult situations, compose quickly, and above all, to be patient, which has been a huge benefit when working in landscape photography.\r\rIf there's a theme that runs through his photographs, it's the theme of Beauty. Inspired by the quiet beauty of the landscape, he often looks for large, bold areas of color in his images, and a sense of order in the natural world. Hudson started out using black and white film and printing in a traditional wet darkroom; color printing was expensive and difficult to do correctly. Today though, more of his images are in color than black and white. But, due to his monochrome 'upbringing', he still shoots very selectively– there has to be a good reason to shoot in color.\r\rMichael Hudson has been a professional photographer for over twenty years. It has allowed him to work on commercial assignments, while giving him the freedom to travel the world in search of beauty. His fine art images hang in private and corporate collections, and have been used on numerous book covers and in magazines. Hudson was born in Sydney, Australia, and grew up in Australia, the United States, and England, eventually settling in Illinois. Tall and soft-spoken, Robert possesses sincerity and courtesy that reflect his Idaho farm upbringing.  There, amidst the wide open plains bounded by rugged mountains, his appreciation for nature was sparked.  A contemplative, quiet individual, Robert discovered art as a way to freely express his feelings.  His practical background and belief in discipline led him to first earn a Bachelor of Science degree with teaching credentials in Art from Eastern Oregon State College and then a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Art Center School of Design in California.  At Art Center, Robert received a full scholarship and majored in Illustration and graduated with honors.\r\rRobert prefers painting ‘en plein aire’ to best express his immediate impression of each subject.  Plein aire painting allows him to capture the light and color effects of creation’s order.  He frequently uses vivid colors and high-keyed values that reveal a spiritually inspired joy. Robert’s paintings have a characteristic mood and energy about them that invite the viewer to experience the beauty he sees in nature. Several Trips abroad, including China, Canada, and the Tuscan countryside, have also inspired many canvases. In recent years, Robert has become a highly sought-after instructor and he teaches multiple workshops a year. He has been profiled in numerous magazine articles including Western Art Collector, Southwest Art, Wildlife Art, Big Sky Journal and Art of the West. In 1992, he immigrated to Canada and settled in Toronto where he lives with his wife and two children. Since 1993, Eduard has run a home-based  art studio where he creates his own art as well as instructs aspiring artists of all ages. His educational  background consists of a Degree of Arts from the University of the City of Lvov, (Ukraine) and an Illustration degree from Sheridan College, (Canada). \r\rArtist Statement: “Discovering Canada’s great wealth of natural splendor has also stimulated my interest of painting landscapes which is presently becoming  the most prominent theme in my work. Capturing my personal thoughts and feelings along with the beauty in front of  my eyes is the most important aspect to me. Many of my clients mentioned that my work reminds them of stained glass. I often outline images in my work in thin dark lines. To me, it is one of the final steps in which I try to elevate the energy of the entire piece. Outlined, the colors become brisk and vibrant, the shapes gain a deeper personality.” \r\r“Painting for me is the process in which some of my thoughts get a chance to become visible, a continues journey of self-discovery and self-expression. My paintings are experimental as I strive to best represent a thought or a feeling that I am living through. Using mixed media I constantly try new techniques  rather than remain stagnant in one place. My life’s works represent both, change in technique and subject  matter. After twelve very successful years as a decorative painter she turned her focus toward fine art. In 2000, she began studying with local artist Andy Braitman and flourished under his direction for the next six years.\r\rRecognized by her spontaneous brushwork, diversity, and candid use of color her viewers seem to relate and connect to her work. Her paintings convey a certain energy and spontaneity that draws the viewer into her work whether it be a landscape, interior, still life or abstract. Her style brings energy and excitement to the canvas in a very creative, artistic way that is all her own.\r\rAlthough Libby spends a great deal of her time painting she also finds joy in sharing her knowledge with others by teaching workshops or helping individuals. While she loves painting outdoors in nature she spends most of her time devoted to painting in her home studio. Libby has never been content to settle in with just one style of painting, rather she challenges herself to experience and develop as an artist. She broadens her artistic experiences by studying with other well known artists in and around the country as well as abroad. This continuous learning is what excites her and keeps her connected to the art world.  \r\rLibby received a B.A. from Converse College and continues to study with Andy Braitman on a regular basis. She lives in Charlotte, NC with her two boys and her husband. Dixon approaches painting much as she does her life...intuitively with free expression. \"Anything is possible if the art spirit is right.\" Direct observation of everyday life and a keen sense of what will work on canvas fuel her passion for exploring fresh subjects as well as revisiting old favorites. The work is about color, immediacy and an intuitive response to the world around her. Inspiration is drawn from paying attention to the moment and recognizing ideas that connect with the soul...color, form, mood, light, music, conversation, dreams. Dixon's personal journey challenges her to investigate peace, harmony, chaos, fears, stress and laughter of the day... to reveal and paint in response to this LIFE and all its complexities. Going back to her Louisiana roots and the familiar laissez le bon temps rouler...that is, let the good times roll on the canvas! ...and she does.\r\rAmy Dixon received her BA in Studio Art from Newcomb College of Tulane University.  She also studied at Studio Arts Center International in Florence, Italy and participated in workshops with artists Wolf Kahn and Kim English.  Along with her painting, she has published two books with Pelican Publishing Co. Robert’s paintings have a characteristic mood and energy about them that invite the viewer to experience the beauty he sees in nature. Several Trips abroad, including China, Canada, and the Tuscan countryside, have also inspired many canvases. In recent years, Robert has become a highly sought-after instructor and he teaches multiple workshops a year. He has been profiled in numerous magazine articles including Western Art Collector, Southwest Art, Wildlife Art, Big Sky Journal and Art of the West. Tall and soft-spoken, Robert possesses sincerity and courtesy that reflect his Idaho farm upbringing.  There, amidst the wide open plains bounded by rugged mountains, his appreciation for nature was sparked.  A contemplative, quiet individual, Robert discovered art as a way to freely express his feelings.  His practical background and belief in discipline led him to first earn a Bachelor of Science degree with teaching credentials in Art from Eastern Oregon State College and then a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Art Center School of Design in California.  At Art Center, Robert received a full scholarship and majored in Illustration and graduated with honors.\r\rRobert prefers painting ‘en plein aire’ to best express his immediate impression of each subject.  Plein aire painting allows him to capture the light and color effects of creation’s order.  He frequently uses vivid colors and high-keyed values that reveal a spiritually inspired joy. Throughout his career, he had always been in contact with art: Illustrators, Photographers, Producers, Art Painters, Gallery owners, etc. Carlos built on his history with the arts when he began working as decorative faux finisher. \r\rCarlos had always been comfortable working with many mediums and techniques:  Oils, acrylics, pastels, and photography. He compiled many of them in a book titled, “Texture Techniques for Winning Watercolors”, published by Northlight and released in November of 1999 (now out of print).\rRay’s work has been published, as prints, by Primrose Press, Galaxy of Graphics, and most recently, by Bruce McGaw Graphics.  His work has appeared in many books and magazines such as Splash 3, Splash 4, Splash 9, Palette Talk, Bucks Country Magazine, County Line Magazine, American Artist, Artist’s Magazine and Chinese Watercolor, an art magazine published in Beijing, China.\rRay is represented by several galleries in southeastern Pennsylvania.
