Eve Shpritser was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec Canada. She began her education in creative arts and ventured into design, where she graduated in 1989 with a degree in interior design. When she began to feel restricted by the technical aspect of linear design, Eve fell back on her creative side where she was able to paint without limitations. She integrates her knowledge of form and space with vivid color and texture. Heavy use of gel medium accompanied by various vibrant background colors, serves as a foundation for her every painting. She then creates depth by using layer upon layer of rich bold color.
