Audrey Barron is a self-taught artist who finds her greatest inspiration just outside her door. Living on Lake Murray in central South Carolina, she draws from the ever-changing rhythms of nature—shimmering water, tangled shorelines, shifting light, and the quiet (and not-so-quiet) moments that come with life outdoors.
When she’s not creating, Audrey shares her lakeside home with her husband, two sons, and two Labrador Retrievers whose curiosity routinely exceeds their good judgment. That mix of calm beauty and lively chaos shows up in her work, where organic forms, playful details, and a sense of wonder take center stage.
Audrey’s art is rooted in observation, experimentation, and instinct rather than formal training. She believes inspiration doesn’t need to be chased—it usually wanders up on four legs, splashes into the water, or waits patiently to be noticed.
