About the Artist

American artist Samuel A. Kilbourne published a well-known book "Game Fishes of the United States” which included a series of detailed fish illustrations. Each vivid illustration depicts a fish in some kind of action pose with shimmering colors and delicate details. In his illustrations, Kilbourne conveys the drama of fishing sport, as well as the beauty of the natural surroundings.
