About the Artist
Design Pics is a collaboration of many photographers’ images absorbed by this Canadian based company, founded by Rick Carlson in 2001. They initially produced and distributed imagery through a worldwide network of marketing partners and expanded into their collection by acquiring the Irish Image Collection, Axiom Photographic (travel imagery), First Light and Pacific Stock (Hawaii and Pacific Rim photos) and Alaska Stock.
Design Pics President Rick Carlson states that, "I pursued these specialty agencies because of the stunning photography they offered and the fact that it complemented our earlier acquisitions of truly unique collections."
