Elle Aiche is a freelance artist based in Chicago. She has been painting and creating since an early age. She spent her childhood in Arizona and Taiwan, and later studied in New York and London. Growing up with a strong interest in painting, music and fashion, she’s always been drawn to expressing emotions, thoughts and memories through art in various forms. Elle Aiche uses a mix of acrylic, watercolor, gouache, charcoal, graphite, and pastels in her artworks, layering and creating gradients reminiscent of the natural world.
I’m inspired by nature, the sky and ocean, and beauty all around us — sunrises and sunsets, the crisp air at dawn, the smell after it rains, sequoia forests, mountains in the desert and much more. Growing up in multiple locations and traveling from a young age, my memories of different places make their way into my paintings. Drawn to soft color palettes, I want my art to create a feeling of serenity, peace, and calmness - inspiring one to dream and feel closer to one’s childlike self.
