Kem McNair
Kem McNair's Art dates back to the mid 60s.
At this time he started surfing and doing art on surfboards, wax art, slip check designs (old spray on non-slip surfboard coating), airbrushing, hand painting and laminating over 10,000 surfboards, and doing thousands of t-shirt designs, illustrations and fine art for many well known clients, including Ron Jons Surf Shop, Corona Beer, 20th Century Fox, Marvel Comics, Budweiser and the "Daytona 500", and many well know surf shops including Salty Dog and Red Dog surf shop, private collectors and restaurants on the east coast.
As an artist Kem paints in oils, acrylics, and watercolor. He photographs nature, the beach and all things that need to be paintings some day.
My ability to paint compelling ocean art, fine art and illustration comes from over 45 years of viewing, photographing and surfing in exotic locations all over the world, and a love and passion for Art, Music, Nature, Photography, and our Mother Ocean.
