About the Artist

John Folchi is a native of New York. He studied art at Herbert Lehman College and also at the Art Student's League. His serene works on paper give the viewer a sense of calm drawn from his keen use of neutral earth tones and soft brushstrokes. One can almost see and feel the breezes through his tranquil landscapes. He has shown his work at Terrain Gallery, New York City, Sears-Peyton Gallery, New York City, and others.
