The Bruce Museum in Greenwich Connecticut will host the seasonably timely exhibition Spring into Summer with Andy Warhol and Friends featuring key examples of Andy Warhol’s Pop art aesthetic and imagery drawn from nature. The exhibition will features Flowers, 1974 (10 silkscreens), Warhol’s Little Red Book, 1971 composed of ten unique polaroid portraits of himself, Philip Johnson, David Whitney, and others, along with two large silkscreen portraits of Sachiko Bower, 1977 from the Bruce Museum’s collection. Also included are silkscreens from Warhol’s celebrated Endangered Species series from 1983. The exhibition will be on view from June 10, 2017 – August 20, 2017. See the Andy Warhol Poster Collection.
