Opening today at Masters Gallery in Calgary is “Transcend”, an exhibition of James Wyper’s paintings. Including 14 bright geometric paintings, the exhibition explores the idea that state-of-being (consciousness) is casual. The paintings are the artist’s translations of states of meditation, ecstasy, spontaneous spiritual realization and transcendence. These works will be on view through May 20th, 2017.
