Now on view at London’s Cardi Gallery is Andy Warhol: Shadows and Knives. The exhibition is on view through June 30, 2017 and includes works from a series developed by Warhol in 1978. Warhol’s Shadows project was conceived at one painting in multiple parts. The finished body of work was composed of 102 silkscreened canvas panels, fourteen of which will be on view at the Cardi Gallery. This series is an example of Warhol’s explorations of abstraction in his work, the results lending a calm, meditative, spiritual feeling to the viewer. See Andy Warhol’s Shadows Posters .
