Introducing Michelle Hold - High Fashion Abstracts

Michelle Hold’s large-scale abstract paintings command the viewer with wide sweeping brushstrokes and saturated color. She took a bit of a winding path before becoming a fine artist – A path that led her from architecture study to high fashion. As a model she went on to travel the world living in Paris, New York, Hong Kong and Munich where she took various art and textile design classes. She went on to design textiles for fashion brands Krizia, Escada, Ungaro, and Bluemarin. Immersed in fashion, design and art throughout her life, her paintings reflect an intuitive comfort with color and composition with a vibrant energy behind each work.

“My work is based on capturing the essence of feelings, emotions and the invisible, eternal energy that pervades in the universe, focusing on beauty and it’s scarcity in current time” – Michelle Hold

She has exhibited her work in the USA, China, and Europe and her works are in Private collections throughout the world. We are happy to add Michelle’s enigmatic abstracts to the McGaw collection. See Michelle Hold’s abstracts here.
