Later this month Philippe Debongnie will exhibit his popular “Family Album” collection at the Art & Swap in Buenos Aires Argentina, a 3 day cultural event where artists exchange their works for other items, services, materials, travels or any other proposals that may suit an artist in exchange for their work.
This unique event will have an alternative vibe, creating a unique environment for contemporary art collectors to discover new art and artists. The Art & Swap, through its affiliation with the similar Belgian event Art Truc Troc brings together Belgian and Argentinian artists, with Belgian food, drink, and music painting the backdrop for the collaborative cultural event. Philippe, who is Belgian, will be one of several artists exhibiting at this event. Along with teaching at two art schools in Brussels, he creates illustrations by combining the media of painting, drawing, printing, and digital art.
