Three American Masterpieces on View at the Art Institute of Chicago This Weekend

Three of the most famous works of American Art by Grant Wood, James McNeill Whistler, and Edward Hopper will be on view together at the Art Institute of Chicago for three days only from June 9-11th. With Hopper’s Nighthawks, one of the most important works in the Institute’s collection, Wood’s iconic American Gothic returns to the museum after being abroad for nine months and Whistler’s portrait of his mother completes a special loan period after just a few more days. See these iconic works together if you can, and find prints here.
