'Andy Warhol: Stars of the Silver Screen' on View at the Andy Warhol Museum, Pittsburgh
Throughout his career Andy Warhol was fascinated with Hollywood, stars, and the glamour of the silver screen. The current exhibition “Andy Warhol: Stars of the Silver Screen” on view at The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh explores this subject through artworks, archival objects from the museum’s collection and the artist’s personal items. Included are drawings and pop portraits of celebrities such as Grace Kelly, Elvis Presley, Jane Fonda and many others. The exhibition will be in view through September 24th, 2017. Picasso Exhibition at Meadows Museum
Eighty years ago Pablo Picasso created his epic work “Guernica” in response to the atrocities of the Spanish Civil War. To commemorate the anniversary of this important work, the Meadows Museum is currently hosting the exhibition “Picasso’s Dream and Lie of Franco: The Spanish Civil War in Print” through July 2, 2017.
