In just a few weeks Spring will arrive! We are ready to see leaves and blossoms replace bare branches, and what better way to gear up for this time of year than with a collection of art showcasing Home Decor trends.

“L’Affichomania: The Passion for French Posters” has just opened at the Driehaus Museum in Chicago. The exhibition features nearly 50 works by the five greats of the Vintage Poster era: Jules Chéret, Eugène Grasset, Théophile-Alexandre Steinlen, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and Alphonse Mucha.

Emanuel Gottlieb Leutze’s Washington Crossing the Delaware (1851) is one of the most famous works of art ever made.
